Banana Espresso Maca Smoothie with Protein Ice Cream
This recipe, adapted from my cookbook Wild Delicious, is a simple layered smoothie that’s insanely delicious and hits all the right notes. Creamy banana “ice cream” at the base, topped with a rich espresso–maca smoothie, it’s nourishing and energising yet feels indulgent. Definitely on the more decadent side – it could even pass as dessert.
What makes it extra special is Mitchell’s new Banana Bone Broth Protein. Not only does it add natural sweetness and a deep banana flavour, it also delivers the benefits of bone broth in an easy-to-use form. Rich in naturally occurring amino acids, collagen, and minerals, bone broth protein supports gut health, joint and bone strength, muscle recovery, and glowing skin. Amino acids are the building blocks your body uses for repair, recovery, and resilience – making this smoothie as functional as it is delicious. It’s a true nutrient-dense superfood disguised in the most indulgent way. Definitely a pick-me-up for anyone needing a boost.
